Oh my gosh. Alison and I were OBSESSED with this in high school. Michael Nesmith made this random movie called, "Elephant Parts," and Alison's cousin (the late, great Jeff Buckley) left it at her house over Christmas. This music video was a part of that movie. It's so funny, you almost can't even laugh because you can't believe what you're watching. Check it out:

I love this blog. I check it every five minutes from work. But I wish you would tell more stories...like stories about students and stuff. Here's one. A student asked me if she could get a drink. I told her to write a hall pass and I would sign it. She brought it back to me (I should mention that English is her second language) and it said "Zayra to go get drunk." WHERE were THESE hall passes when we were in high school? I totally would have used them. By the way, this is Rachel but I don't have an account yet and am going to sign this as anon.

Oh my gosh. Rachel. That is the funniest story EVER. I know, they make me laugh every day. Yesterday, out of nowhere, one of my four-year-old students was in the middle of a reading assignment and he just shouted out, "HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!" And then he goes, "I'm so decided!" (Instead of "excited.") How cute is that? I'm so decided.

As great as girls in tiny shorts and rollerskates are, I have to say this music leaves a lot to be desired. He makes no mention of cameltoe which I think was the best feature of the whole video. Maybe I'm looking too DEEPLY into this. HAHAHAHAHHA! Funny, my double meaning. I need to get a life.
